How Do You Keep Them Motivated?
 
Having a well-motivated sales team can be the cornerstone of a successful Home Party Plan Business. Building a strong sales team has the potential for great financial benefits for you as an upline. So now that you are on your way to building a sales team how do you keep them motivated so that they will have fun with what they are doing and be able to build a successful direct selling business just like you?
 
 
Team Newsletter or Ezine
 
One thing that you can do to keep up the motivation of your team is start a team newsletter. Keep them up on new ways you are using so that they can duplicate your success.
 
This can be done through the mail or by email whichever you think would work better for your group. You can include words of encouragement to get your team excited about their business, offer tips like how to throw a theme party and even let your team send in ideas that have worked for them.
  
 
Sending Cards.
 
Another thing you can do to let your team members know that they are special to you is start sending cards on special occasions. Remembering things like wedding anniversaries, birthdays or even an independent beauty consultant that has had an exceptional sales month will let your team members know that they are special to you and not simply a number that you recruited for your own person gain.
 
Try sending a card or email for no good reason at all, just to say hello, wouldn't that be a nice surprise?
 
 
Training And Incentives
 
Offer team training and incentives to you down line of independent 
consultants for motivation. If you like some of the things you have learned here, teach these useful tricks to your new recruits. Whether your new independent consultants are season sales people or just delving into their first business, training is always a welcome thing. People want to know someone is working with them, helping them get started. They should never think they are out there alone.
 
You can hold conference calls, webinars, weekly or monthly team meetings. Offer incentives for your team to help them reach their sales goals. Offer things like sales aides, product samples, catalogs or even product from your company. Many of the older uplines I have seen offer Dollar Store trinkets, who wants Dollar Store baubles? Give them items they can use in their business or items they can use themselves or even resell if they want too. Now wouldn't that motivate selling more, then getting a Dollar Store item?
 
 
Support and Teaching
 
The best thing that you can do is make yourself available to your independent consultant team members and let them know that they matter to you. Nothing is more motivating than knowing you have someone who is behind you and supports you all the way with your home party plan business.
 
Keep teaching them new ways to give people valuable information that will keep the people coming back for more from your consultants.
  
Keep these tips in mind and you will have a direct sales team that really loves what they do, which means success for everyone.
